The Wolf Grove
Community!
We are a group of homeschooling families dedicated to living creatively and in harmony with nature’s cycles.
At the heart of what we do is our small tribe — a mixed-age group of children: preschoolers who don't attend kindergarten and homeschoolers.

Twelve families form the Wolf Grove alliance. That amounts to twenty-two children thriving in our community space.
We are not formally organized and our work is not for profit. We do this because we want a healthy environment for our families.
Our group believes in free play and self-directed learning.
We celebrate children's creativity, together with their spontaneous connection with nature.
Open space
Our community space functions as an open environment where everyone is invited to follow their own interests.
We value freedom!
One of our basic rules is:
"My freedom ends where yours begins."
We speak English and German
All of our homeschoolers learn to speak English. Four children speak German. We have German native speakers and all of our mentors speak English.
Worldschoolers' Week 2025
This summer, we are organizing a Worldschoolers' Week!
Join us in August, from 18th to 22nd.
The best part of the week will undoubtedly be the unlimited opportunities for free, imaginative play and exploration that our enchanting forest provides.
We will also host creative workshops that encourage experiential learning.
Your kids will have the opportunity to take part in:
Children interested in art will have the opportunity to work with professional visual artists and musicians.
Small children will also have the opportunity to work with Montessori materials.
All workshops will be held in English and/or German.
Children are welcome to join the workshops on their own or together with their parents. Children under 4 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Stay with a Local Family
We’re organizing a homestay program where local families offer accommodation to visiting families. Contact us for more info!
About us
Wolf Grove Community was founded in the spring of 2020 by three families.
Our goal was to create a healthy environment for our children. Soon, more families joined us on our journey of discovering how life can be enriched within a community.

We are located at the foot of the Alps, a 30 minutes drive from our capital, Ljubljana), in a beautiful meadow by an enchanting forest.
Our community space includes a small wooden house by a brook, a forest playground, and a hidden fairytale dugout.
Your family is warmly welcome to join us!
Experience the beauty of life with us.
Join us for our Worldschoolers Week!
You are also very welcome to join us during our school year,
from mid-September to mid-May.
Contribution for Worldschooler's Week
€210 per child or €370 per family
